The Baltimore Police Department released the following statement early this morning in Cherry Hill/Lakeland:
On December 5, 2018, at 4:52am, officers were called to the Restaurant Depot located in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his body. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe two suspects entered the location and announced a robbery. During the robbery, a store employee was shot.

The employee was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he [Baltimore Police spokesman Jeremy Silbert] said.
A police SWAT team swept the building and said there was no sign of the suspects inside, police said. The SWAT team turned the investigation over to detectives just before 8 a.m.
