Southern District Homicide Investigation
On March 28, 2020 at approximately 9:30 P.M., officers responded to the 1100 block of Washington Boulevard for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 27 year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wounds to his back. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, also a 27 year-old male, was located and was suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his arm and buttocks. He was transported to an area hospital.
A short time later, a third victim, a 19 year-old male walked into an area hospital suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his arm and legs.
Also a forth victim, a 16 year-old male walked into an area hospital and was suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the right leg and hand.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and have learned three shooters exited a vehicle and opened fire on the victims.
The shooters fled the location in the vehicle.
