1701 Light Street Seized by State of Maryland, 8/29

This article was only around for three days in August and quickly surged to the top of SouthBMore.com’s most-read list (it received more views in its first day than any other article in SouthBMore.com’s history!) 1701 Light St. was seized by the state of Maryland in violation of the Drug Nuisance Abatement Law.  At the time of the seizure, nine people were staying in the property, which will now be auctioned in the near future.

Live Baltimore announced their new “One Over” neighborhoods and Pigtown, along with Reservoir Hill, Waltherson and Highlandtown, was chosen.  These up-and-coming neighborhoods are in the top 25 percent in the number of residential sales and the number of renovation permits.

New Carousel Now Open at the Inner Harbor, 8/6

Charm City Carousel Entertainment officially opened their new carousel at the Baltimore Inner Harbor.  The carousel will be open on weekends and holidays in September and October.
